2019年度第2回KRセミナー「セネガルにおけるスーフィズム・タリーカ・聖者信仰」を開催しました。

【研究会の報告書】
2019年7月28日、上智大学研究機構イスラーム研究センター、京都大学イスラーム地域研究センター、科学研究費補助金（基盤研究（A））「イスラームおよびキリスト教の聖者・聖遺物崇敬の人類学的研究」、科学研究費補助金（基盤研究（A））「イスラーム神秘主義の構造的理解：スーフィズム・タリーカ・聖者信仰複合現象の解明」および京都大学ケナン・リファーイー・スーフィズム研究センター主催によるスーフィズム・聖者信仰研究会が開催された。参加者は20名弱を数えた。
【概説】「セネガルのスーフィズム、タリーカ、聖者信仰に関する概況」
冒頭、本日の研究発表者でもある池邉智基、末野孝典両氏から、9月実施予定のセネガルでの共同調査準備を兼ねた概説の時間が取られ、活発な質疑応答がなされた。
【第1報告】
報告者：池邉智基（京都大学大学院アジア・アフリカ地域研究研究科博士課程）
題 目：「ムリッド教団の信徒による「献金 addiya」をめぐる推論過程：托鉢と説教の場に着目して」
池邉氏はセネガルのスーフィズム教団であるムリッド教団において「バイファル」と呼ばれ、礼拝や断食をせず、労働をすることを重んじる一派について発表を行った。具体的には、路上での托鉢の声掛けや、犠牲祭などで献金を募り、教団の歴史を語る行為を通じて、どのように指導者のメッセージが伝達され、信徒らによる献金等の行為が理由づけられるかに注目した発表であった。とくに、その場での語りの分析を中心に据えることで、托鉢や説教の場において言説伝統として献金をめぐる行為が理由付けられ、競技場に明言されない「労働の教義」が人々に内在化される様子を描き出す可能性が示された。これに対して、質疑応答においてはtravailに「労働」という訳語を当てることによって研究者の教義理解が限定的になってきた可能性が指摘された他、アサドに由来する言説伝統概念を語りの分析に援用することについて主に人類学者から多様な意見が出された。
【第2報告】
報告者：末野孝典（京都大学大学院アジア・アフリカ地域研究研究科博士課程）
題 目：「イブン・アジーバの存在一性論理解：カブダの語に着目して」
末野氏は、イブン・アラビー学派の思想的広がりを俯瞰する研究の一環として、先行研究の空隙となっている近現代の北アフリカ、西アフリカに注目する研究を進めるべく、イブン・アジーバの「カブダ（一握り）」概念の用法に着目して発表を行った。イブン・アジーバは、18～19世紀モロッコのスーフィー思想家であり、セネガルを含む北・西アフリカのイスラーム知識人に影響を及ぼした人物である。まず、末野氏はイブン・アジーバの宇宙論において、イブン・アラビー学派に一般的な五層構造論ではなく、マッキーやガザーリーらの提示した三層構造論を援用したことを示した。次いで、イブン・アラビーの存在一性論は絶対一者の存在とそれ以外の被造物、また両者をつなぐ「第三のもの」という概念からなり、クルアーンにおいて被造物の始終極点を担う語として用いられる「カブダ」は、絶対一者であるアッラーが自身以外のすべての被造物を生み出す始源の場であり「第三のもの」であると解釈される点を確認した。最後に、イブン・アジーバは、アッラーが「一握りよ、ムハンマドとなれ」と命令を下すことで、最も完全な存在者であるムハンマドがあらゆる被造物の存在原型として現れるという意味で「ムハンマド的一握り」という概念を用いており、これが絶対一者と被造物をつなぐ「第三のもの」として機能する術語であることに、イブン・アラビーの思想との連続性を見出すことができるとの主張がなされた。発表に対してはイブン・アジーバの用いる諸概念の確認を始めとして、思想研究者を中心に諸種の質問やコメントがなされた他、「イブン・アラビー学派」という概念についても検討が加えられた。
