KU–UIN Joint Seminar “Wisdom of Coexistence in the Islamic Thought: Graduate Seminar on Sufism” @ Jakarta

Both of Kyoto University and Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta (Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, UIN) has a long tradition of Islamic studies. This project aims to establish the academic cooperation between two parties. We held the first joint seminar as a kick-off program for this project. We expect to promote our mutual cooperation so that we can make a contract of MOU in the near future. The main theme of the first joint seminar was Sufism, Tariqa and Saint Veneration.
